I keep getting copyright notifications on my videos and it's driving me crazy. And they also keep saying that because they made claims, they own my videos entirely. It's like none of my efforts even matter, because they keep on taking it, and then threaten to kick me off of YouTube in the end. It's depressing, upsetting, embarrassing, and just... I don't know. I'm not trying to cause any copyright infringement, I'm not trying to cause anyone any trouble or anger any companies, if I had the money to get copyright permission for everything I do, I would buy it. I always credit the people I get my work from, so I thought of it more as free advertising rather than stealing. I'm not a thief. It's driving me crazy, I don't know what to do. I don't think I can do it, whether I wanted to or not. I'm pretty much about to lose all the work I've ever done, and I just don't even know what to do with myself. It's terrifying, I cannot describe what I'm feeling right now. I don't think I can continue working. If I'm going to spend years and years on a project, and then they're going to just take it away, that's a horrible fear to have in the back of my mind while making it. But I know people have more important things to deal with. This isn't a huge deal, I guess, but it does feel horrible. I'm sorry, everyone... :icondepressedplz:

... I'm just about done, I mean it. I am seriously just about done. I can't stand it anymore. My year-long work is now owned by somebody else. I... am... done.

If a company noticed that I used some of their work, and they requested partial credit for the video's development, that's okay. But to take everything, that's a serious problem for me. I'm so sick of being used all the time. I'm sick of all the shame and embarrassment. I'm tired of being called selfish and a wimp and a quitter and a crybaby and a mother****** whenever I have a problem (I gladly help people day in and day out with whatever they go through, and I'm happy to take care of them, but as for me, I'm reduced to writing journal entries.). I'm tired of wasting my time with this crap. I don't want to make duets anymore. I don't want to work with MMD anymore, I'm sick of being used like this. It's over. I just want to be forgotten...

what the hell is worng with companies :/ its not like you were stealing everything and saying vocaloid belonged to you or the music or whatever, sure you don't own that, but i mean all the hard word you put into making the videos is still YOURS, companies are ass holes and i think you should be treated better... i dont think your any of those things that you said people have called you~ i'd be the sameway, its not right.. i hope things get better you, its unbelievable what assholes people can be to others, i hope things get better for you tho~ you seem like a great person and i dont think you should be treated that way >/ especially with all the work you put into those :/

yer not alone voca-san~ some of my older (and now that i look back on them, WAY sucky) videos are getting muted, owned, blocked, etc etc etc etc. I think it's BS that they can even do this stuff because its not like we are running around saying we own this stuff, all we own is the creativity that put those clips and music together in perfect harmony and the resulting COMPILATION. We never said we own the anime, the music, or even the programs to make the videos so what are they harping about? Music is a BIT understandable because of the whole "omg you uploaded it now well lose profits cause people will listen to it here instead of buying it, how will i EVER afford my mcdonalds without those $0.69 sales?!" but they need to reach a compromise with creative artists so that we can create, share, and enjoy without offending them. Like for example maybe tagging songs with digital tags so they CANT be used in the first place and flagging them as so before you even buy it/cd/etc, make it known that yer company sucks and doesnt want to be part of a bigger world~

There is a possible way to get rid of all that.
I had like 2 strikes before, but they were suddenly cleared out like I have never been marked. Like a totally new account member would have. I was allowed pass limits of what they listed.
This started AFTER I left disclaimers and acknowledging the copyrights.
If you take a look at a few of my latest video descriptions, I always add at the end a [Disclaimer] note. You can copy and paste by using that in yours videos to possibly avoid copyright infringement.
Another thing is that when you check your videos in Video Manager, some may be marked with notices to Acknowledge a music that was used. So long as you click them and it says that you've acknowledged it, you should also be safe.

I'm not sure if this wil happen and work for you, but I thought this could possibly help you in the future.

I have "matched third-party content" on most of my videos. I've already put disclaimers in both the video descriptions and the ends of the videos themselves that I make. I do that with all of them and yet I still keep getting copyright notifications.

What does acknowledging the notes do?

If it says "matched third-party content" do you click the link and go to another page that asks you to acknowledge the copyright? o.o

Don't listen to those bastards, just post them on a different website and tell us the URL via notes to prevent them doing those. I mean seriously, those boneheads don't even know how to use copyright. They think you have to pay them before you use those. MMD is meant to be free. There's no such thing as pay-to-use MMD files. You might want to defend your freedom. Or else, I'll send extermination viruses to their computers. Just tell me their usernames or something, I'll track their computers down, then send those viruses.
